Lino Cutting Practice/Workshop

Over the summer i tried looking into different methods of illustration and i decided to try Lino cutting.

I also signed up for the Lino workshop to further develop my skills and be able to use equipment i hadn’t previously used. I learnt that there where numerous tools of different sizes and shapes to create texture in a lino cut and this is what i tried to do with the piece i produced in the workshop. I also learnt from the workshop how to refine my piece of work and create something a little more professional using templates and equipment.

Although i enjoyed the workshop and felt i learnt a lot from the technician i still prefer to practice independently and experiment without the guidelines most of the time.
